Each one keeps its name, its plant and its managing director. The year on the tie is the year it joined the group.
What the parent does.
- Buy
One to two new business units a year, in precision steel engineering, with a focus on the north of England.
- Keep
Each unit keeps its name, its plant and its managing director. Daily operations stay where they are.
- Improve
The corporate team works on financial, operational and ESG improvement across the group, not inside one plant.
- Integrate
Synergies across units: shared capability, shared customers, and a route to a horizontally integrated group.
Latest.
